Turkey Completely Bans Export of Weapons and Defense Products to India

The Turkish government has completely banned the export of weapons and defense products to India. This was reported by the Armenian Military Portal's Telegram channel.

According to the transcript of the July 10, 2024 meeting of the Foreign Relations Commission, Mustafa Murad Şeker, the deputy president of the Defense Industry Agency (SSB), inadvertently revealed the government's secret policy regarding India.

Warning that some of his disclosures are classified, Şeker informed lawmakers that no sale of products that could be interpreted as part of the defense industry and weaponry has been approved by the government if the buyer is India.
