Shooting in a Village of Armavir Region: A Man's Body Found in Bedroom

A shooting occurred today in one of the villages of the Armavir region, where a man's body was discovered in the bedroom of his own home. This information was reported by shamshyan.com.

At around 02:40, the Armavir regional department of the Police of Armenia and the police division of Metsamor received a report that there was a dead man in a house in one of the villages of Armavir region.

Police officers, patrols, and investigators found the body of 55-year-old Arthur A., a resident of the same house, lying in bed in the bedroom of the specified village.

A forensic expert also worked at the scene. Next to the body, a single-barreled hunting rifle of type "IJ 18 E" with a 16 mm caliber, registered in his name, was found.

According to preliminary information, he allegedly shot himself in the left side of his chest with that rifle. The preliminary conclusion by the forensic doctor indicates that there were no signs of violence found on the body during the external examination. Based on the investigator's decision, a forensic medical examination of the body has been appointed.
