Blinken Assures Adequate Support for Kyiv Following Zelensky's Complaints
Mariam Z.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, speaking at the NATO summit, stated that Ukraine is receiving adequate assistance from its allies. His remarks were quoted by RIA Novosti.
“I am convinced that this is the case,” Blinken responded to a question regarding the sufficiency of the Western aid provided to Ukraine.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky, in his address at the NATO summit, expressed concerns that the 'Abrams' tanks supplied by Washington have been unable to change the situation on the battlefield, and the air defense systems are also inadequate for Ukraine. Moreover, he noted that the deliveries of American F-16 fighter jets are insufficient, as Kyiv requires more than a hundred of such aircraft.
