Modi: The Temperature in India-Russia Relations is Always High

During a meeting with the Indian community in Moscow, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that Russia is India’s "faithful friend, and the temperature in Indo-Russian relations is always high."

"When the word 'Russia' is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind for every Indian is that Russia is India's companion in both happy and sad times. Russia is India's true friend," Modi said.

At the same time, he added that "sometimes the temperature in Russia can drop below zero, but the temperature in India-Russia relations is always high." Modi emphasized that "Russia is India’s reliable friend in any weather."
