Every Day, When 'Weapons Speak', Shows How Accurate We Are: Erdogan
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has stated that NATO should not take sides in the Ukraine conflict. "We support Ukraine's integrity. We say that NATO should not take sides in this war. Every day, when 'weapons speak', shows how accurate we are," Erdogan told reporters at the airport before heading to the NATO summit in Washington.
Russia believes that the supply of military aid to Ukraine disrupts negotiations and directly involves NATO countries in the conflict. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has noted that any cargo containing weapons for Ukraine will become a legitimate target for Russia. According to him, the US and NATO are directly participating in the conflict, including not only through arms supplies but also by training personnel in the territories of Great Britain, Germany, Italy, and other countries. The Kremlin has stated that the supply of weapons to Ukraine by the West does not contribute to negotiations.
