Traffic Changes in Several Streets of Yerevan Starting July 10

In an effort to improve the flow of transportation in the capital, traffic organization will change in several streets of Yerevan starting July 10. According to the Yerevan Municipality's press service, a U-turn will be prohibited at the intersection of Garegin Nzhdeh Street and Arshakunyats Boulevard, coming from Garegin Nzhdeh Square.

At the intersection of Artsakh Boulevard and Arin Berd Street, traffic will be allowed to proceed in the 'left and straight' and 'straight and right' directions instead of the previous 'only right' and 'straight and left' directions from Arin Berd Street towards the intersection of Artsakh Boulevard and Aivazovsky Street. Additionally, stopping of vehicles will be prohibited for 50 meters along Artsakh Boulevard towards the intersection with Aivazovsky Street. A U-turn will also be banned from Arin Berd Street.

At the intersection of Gayi Boulevard and Kocharian Street, a U-turn will be forbidden. Furthermore, instead of the previous 'only right' permitted traffic at the intersection of Gayi Boulevard and Totoventsi Street, traffic will be allowed 'to the right and left.' The Yerevan Municipality has stated that appropriate road signage will be installed in these areas.
