Heavy Rain and Hail: What Weather to Expect Ahead

From July 8 to 12, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in significant parts of various regions of the Republic of Armenia, with heavy rain in some areas and the possibility of hail. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The wind will be southwestern at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with expected gusts during thunderstorms reaching 19-24 m/s.

The air temperature will gradually decrease by 4-6 degrees on the 7th and 8th.

In Yerevan, from July 8 to 12, short-term rain and thunderstorms are anticipated. Gale-force winds of 18-23 m/s are expected during thunderstorms.

On the afternoon of July 8, the temperature in the capital is projected to reach 30-32 degrees Celsius, while in the evening hours it will register at +22 to +24 degrees.
