VAZ Vehicle Goes Off Road and Ends Up in Ravine on Yerevan-Sevan Highway
On July 5, at 17:10, the crisis management center of the Gegharkunik regional rescue service received a call reporting that a vehicle had gone off the roadway and ended up in a ravine on the Yerevan-Sevan road, leading to injuries.
A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue service responded to the scene. It was determined that a VAZ vehicle (driver A.S., born in 2004) had gone off the road around the 56th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, collided with a nearby tree, and ended up in a ravine.
Rescue workers utilized special equipment to extract the driver from the vehicle and transport him to an ambulance. Meanwhile, a passenger, A.A. (also born in 2004), was taken to a medical center by local residents, where their condition was assessed as moderately serious. The rescuers also disconnected the vehicle's power supply and closed the valve of the gas cylinder.
