Sunak Acknowledges His Party's Defeat in UK Parliamentary Elections

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has admitted that his Conservative Party has lost to the Labor Party in the parliamentary elections held the previous day.

"The Labor Party won this general election, and I called Sir Keir Starmer to congratulate him on his victory," the Prime Minister's words were quoted by the media.

"Now I will head to London, where I will present more details regarding today's results before stepping down from the premiership, to which I have devoted all my strength," he stated.

Earlier, media reports citing exit poll data indicated a decisive victory for the Labor Party.
