Weather will change starting today

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions on July 4-5 during the day. On the evening of July 6, as well as on July 7-8, rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in significant parts of the regions, with heavy rain possible in certain areas, and the possibility of hail.

This information is provided by the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

The wind will be from the northwest at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with wind intensification expected during thunderstorms reaching 19-24 m/s.

The air temperature will gradually rise by 7-9 degrees on July 4-5, and by 10-13 degrees in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik, while on July 7-8, it will decrease by the same margin.

In Yerevan, on July 4-5, dry weather is expected. On the evening of July 6, and on July 7-8, rain and thunderstorms are forecasted, with heavy rain expected in some parts of the city. During thunderstorms, wind intensification of 18-23 m/s is expected.

On July 4, the daytime temperature in the capital will rise to 31-33 degrees, while in the evening temperatures are expected to drop to +25...+27 degrees.
