VIDEO: Financial Assistance to Families Affected by Floods

During a recent government meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that families of the four victims who lost their lives due to floods in the Lori and Tavush regions will receive one-time financial support amounting to 1 million AMD.

If the deceased's relatives reside in the disaster zone, this amount will be distributed alongside previously planned aid.

Each member of the affected families in the towns of Alaverdi and Ayrium will receive 60,000 AMD in assistance.

Families from the communities of Tumanian, Pambak, Tashir, Stepanavan, Gyulagarak, as well as from Tavush region's Novemberyan community, including the villages of Arjis, Bagratashen, Debedavan, Haghartsin, and Ptgavan, along with those in Ijevan and Dilijan municipalities, will receive 40,000 AMD each.

It is worth recalling that floods and devastation were reported in the Lori and Tavush regions due to the overflow of the Debed and Akhstream rivers during the night of May 26.
