How Many Trees Have Fallen in the Last 6 Months?

In Yerevan, over 100 trees have fallen in the last 6 months. This information has been reported by the Yerevan municipality.

"During the first 6 months of this year, more than 100 cases of tree falls have been recorded in Yerevan. The reasons include heavy rains, winds, and snow. The fallen trees have mostly been old and nearing the end of their life cycle. The majority of them are shrubs and poplars," the statement notes.

Considering the need to ensure public safety, this issue is a priority that requires urgent resolution from the city authorities. The "Greening and Environmental Protection" non-profit organization is implementing a program to redesign green spaces by replacing trees to rejuvenate the green fund," the announcement stated.
