Zelensky Responds to Trump’s Statement

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on former US President Donald Trump to publish his peace plan and stated that he is ready to meet with him.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Zelensky urged Trump to tell Kyiv how to end the war if he knows how. The agency also reported that the Ukrainian leader is willing to meet with the former US president to hear his proposals in person.

Politico previously reported, citing its sources, that Trump is considering the possibility of striking a deal in which NATO would agree not to expand further east and negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin about which part of Ukrainian territory Moscow could retain.

Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has stated that Putin is not conducting negotiations with Trump regarding Ukraine.
