Work or Opportunity to Watch Football? "Hraparak"
"Hraparak" newspaper reports: "Although a delegation had just been sent from the parliament to the Federal Republic of Germany at the end of April, a group of officials from the ruling Civil Contract party has once again traveled to Berlin for a working four-day visit.
According to the order signed by the Speaker of the National Assembly, members of the Armenia-Germany Friendship Group, including the head of the Civil Contract faction, Hayk Konjoryan; members Rustam Bakoyan, Babken Tuniantz, Mikayel Tumasian, and Hripsime Hunanian, as well as one person from the staff, are due in Berlin from June 24-28. The nature of this working visit is not specified in the signed order by the parliamentary leader.
As is known, during this period, the UEFA European Championship matches are taking place in Germany, and there is no doubt that the sudden interest of the officials towards Germany is related to football. This is similar to the interest shown by the Minister of Education and the head of the corresponding parliamentary committee, Sisak Gabrielyan, who had traveled to Germany for a working visit a week ago and had published beautiful photos from the stadium while watching a football match."
