Putin to Hold Bilateral Meetings with Aliyev and Erdogan

On July 3, during the SCO summit in Astana, Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold bilateral meetings with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Mongolia, Kazakhstan's leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

This was announced by the assistant to the Russian president, Yuri Ushakov. “Primarily, bilateral negotiations will take place on July 3, which means before the opening of the SCO summit. The first conversation is expected to be with the President of Mongolia, followed by one with Azerbaijani President Aliyev, and then a discussion with Pakistani leader Sharif. After that, there will be a conversation with Erdogan, followed by a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Before the informal dinner for the summit participants, our president will meet with Mr. Tokayev, the host of this summit,” Ushakov stated.

It is noteworthy that the SCO summit will take place on July 3-4 in Astana.
