New Ballistic Missile Tested by North Korea
The main administration for missile construction in North Korea has successfully tested the new tactical ballistic missile Hwasong-11da-4.5, as reported by the Korean Central News Agency on July 2.
The new missile can carry a super-heavy warhead weighing up to 4.5 tons. The tests aimed to verify the missile's flight stability and strike accuracy at a maximum range of 500 km and a minimum range of 90 km.
In this month, North Korea's missile construction administration plans to conduct further tests of the new tactical ballistic missile to check its flight characteristics, strike accuracy, and the explosive force of the super-heavy warhead at a medium range of 250 km.
