Israel Prepared to End War on One Condition, Says Netanyahu

Israel will be ready to cease its war in the Gaza Strip only after achieving all its objectives. The Israeli army has all the necessary means to do so. This statement was made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while commenting on a report by The New York Times, which suggested that Israeli generals are in favor of a ceasefire with the Palestinian radical movement Hamas.

"The war will only end after we reach all of its objectives, including the elimination of Hamas and the release of all hostages. (The Israeli) political leadership has set these objectives for the Israel Defense Forces, and the Israel Defense Forces have all the means to achieve them," Netanyahu stated.
