In Areas Where Demarcation Has Been Conducted, Azerbaijan Has Gained Advantage by Targeting Armenian Settlements: Danielyan
In areas where demarcation has been conducted, Azerbaijan has gained an advantage by targeting Armenian settlements. This was stated by Garni Danielyan, a member of the National Assembly from the ‘Armenia’ faction, on his Facebook page.
“During our three-day visit to Syunik, we noted numerous issues that I will briefly touch upon. Months ago, I raised concerns about the closure or complete absence of state institutions in Meghri, including the First Instance Court, the branch of the State Revenue Committee, the Cadastre Committee unit, notary office, hospital, and morgue. We witnessed that the absence of these institutions creates serious problems in the lives of Meghri residents.
It should also be noted that the roads in Syunik are in a disgraceful condition. Companies belonging to government-affiliated circles carry out low-quality asphalt paving several times a year at the expense of taxpayers, yet strategically important roads remain impassable in various locations throughout the year.
Nevertheless, the issue of security remains a priority for all of us. In areas where so-called demarcation and delimitation have been conducted, the enemy has gained an advantage by targeting Armenian settlements. This indicates that if this process, which is nothing more than a one-sided concession, is conducted in other areas of Armenia, the other regions and settlements of the Republic of Armenia will find themselves in the same situation.
As a result of all this, Nerk'in Hand, Shurnukh, and Kapan have come under direct threat from the enemy. The enemy’s flags can be observed from the balconies of the villages. Numerous Armenian graves have come under the control of Azerbaijanis.
In Nerk'in Hand and David Bek villages, the issue of livestock farming is also paramount, as most pastures have been taken over by the enemy, making livestock farming impossible.
Despite numerous challenges, I would also like to speak positively about the indomitable spirit of the people of Syunik. I saw brave, resilient individuals with great potential, thanks to whom we will overcome all obstacles and win this struggle,” he wrote.
