Putin Has Repeatedly Stated This: Peskov
Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that the Russian Federation is open to any dialogue to achieve the goals set before it. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia, while discussing the possibility of dialogue with Ukraine.
“President Putin has repeatedly said that the Russian Federation is open to any communication and dialogue in order to achieve the goals we have set before us. We, and the president, maintain this openness; he has said this multiple times,” Peskov said in response to a question about whether the Kremlin is ready to support negotiations.
It is worth noting that earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer, stated that peaceful negotiations with the current Russian leadership could be conducted based on the principle first applied during the agreement reached around the grain corridor, where Kyiv negotiated not directly with Moscow, but through the mediation of the UN and Turkey.
