The director of Ashtarak Medical Center, Argishti Hovhannisyan, has been arrested. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Marina Ohanyan.
The Anti-Corruption Committee is expected to address the details of this issue in a forthcoming statement.
According to media reports, Argishti Hovhannisyan is a member of the ruling party. He was appointed as the director of the Ashtarak Medical Center in 2018.
