The Euro 2024 Round of 16 match between Germany and Denmark was interrupted due to lightning and heavy hail. The decision to suspend the match was made by referee Michael Oliver close to the end of the first half. The teams were sent to their locker rooms.
The interruption was prompted by a lightning storm in the skies over Dortmund, followed by heavy rain and large hail.
