Iran Responds to Armenia's Recognition of the State of Palestine

The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes the position of the Republic of Armenia regarding the recognition of the State of Palestine. This was stated by Mehdi Sobhani, the Iranian Ambassador to Armenia, during a conversation with journalists.

“We once again welcome the policy adopted by Armenia regarding the recognition of the State of Palestine. The courageous and positive step taken by Armenia demonstrates that the international community truly values the rights of the Palestinian people and stands against the violations of those rights manifesting against Palestinian men, women, and children by the Zionist regime,” the ambassador noted.

It is noteworthy that earlier, the Armenian Foreign Ministry announced that Armenia recognizes the independence of Palestine.
