Georgia's Team to Receive 20 Million Euros: Terms Revealed

Georgian billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili will double the bonus for the Georgian national football team if the squad, led by French coach Willy Sagnol, overcomes Spain in the Euro 2024 Round of 16, according to The Sun.

After defeating Portugal 2-0 in the third round of the group stage and advancing to the playoffs with 4 points in third place, the Georgian team will receive 10 million euros. One more victory will increase the bonus to 20 million euros.

The match between Spain and Georgia will take place on June 30 and will kick off at 23:00 Yerevan time.
