Expect Strong Wind: Weather in Armenia
The weather in the territory of the Republic of Armenia is expected to remain dry on June 28 and the night of June 29. However, after noon on June 29, isolated areas may experience rain and thunderstorms, which will continue on June 30 and from July 1-2 across significant parts of the regions. The information is provided by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The wind will be coming from the northwest at speeds of 2-4 m/s, but during thunderstorms, wind gusts may increase to 18-23 m/s. In the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, as well as in Armavir, strong winds of 17-20 m/s are expected during the evening hours.
The air temperature in Lori and Tavush is expected to gradually decrease by 5-6 degrees during daytime hours on June 30 and July 1.
In Yerevan, on June 28 and the night of June 29, dry weather is anticipated. In the evening of June 29, as well as on June 30, and from July 1-2, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected. Additionally, increased winds during thunderstorms of 16-20 m/s will occur, while in the evening hours, winds of 14-17 m/s are forecasted.
During the day on June 28 in the capital, temperatures will range between 29-31 degrees, while in the evening, temperatures will register between +23 and +25 degrees.
