This is how today’s session of the Georgian Parliament began, following the victory against Portugal's national team:

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze described the national football team's win over Portugal in the Euro 2024 group stage as a miracle. The Group F match took place in Gelsenkirchen and ended with a score of 2-0 in favor of the team led by Willy Sagnol. The goals were scored by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (2nd minute) and Giorgi Mikautadze (57th minute, penalty).

In the final game of the group stage of the European Football Championship taking place in Germany, the Georgian national team triumphed over the Portuguese squad.
