Ukraine Does Not Want the Conflict to Drag On, Says Zelensky
Ukraine does not want the conflict to drag on, as it has many wounded and killed on the battlefield. This was stated by the country’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, upon arriving at the European Union summit.
“We need to put this peace plan on the table within a few months. We don’t have much time, as we have many wounded and dead on the battlefield. Therefore, we don’t want that. The war can continue for years, so we want to prepare this peace plan for the second summit,” said Zelensky.
Earlier, it was reported in Ukraine that after the first conference in Switzerland, a settlement plan would be prepared, which was planned to be presented to Russia during the second such meeting.
Zelensky added that Ukraine has had no communication with the Russian Federation since the Swiss conference, where several countries announced the need to discuss the settlement with Moscow.
