EU and Ukraine Sign Agreement
The European Union and Ukraine have signed an agreement regarding security guarantees for Kyiv. The document was signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who traveled to Brussels for the occasion. From the European side, it was signed by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel.
It has been reported that the document will formally reinforce several EU initiatives to support Kyiv, including arms supply, training for Ukrainian military personnel, mine clearance, as well as cooperation in combating cyber and hybrid threats. New commitments from the alliance are not expected.
