U.S. State Department Confirms Death of American Diplomat in Kyiv
The U.S. State Department has confirmed the death of an American diplomat in Kyiv. Earlier, the Ukrainian publication 'Strana' reported that the body of the U.S. embassy attaché was found at the Hilton hotel in Kyiv. No signs of violence were detected on the body. The embassy has stated that the deceased suffered from high cholesterol.
The death of the attaché has now been confirmed by the State Department's official representative, Matthew Miller. In a press briefing, he remarked on the cause of the embassy staff member's death, saying, 'We understand that he died of natural causes.'
