Roads Closed Across Armenia

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia. A partial collapse has occurred on the pedestrian section of the bridge near the village of Getapniya in the Ararat region, leading to the suspension of traffic on the bridge.

According to the Road Department foundation, the Vanadzor - Alaverdi - Ayrium - Bagratashen road is only passable for passenger vehicles. Drivers are advised to divert from the M-6 road towards the Georgian border and take the M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Armenia border and M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Armenia border interstate roads.

The M-4, Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Armenia border road is passable from Dilijan to Ijevan, although in some sections, the traffic is one-way.

The bridge leading to the villages of Khashtarak and Lusahatovit is closed in both directions.
