Germany Urges Citizens to Leave Lebanon Immediately
The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on its citizens to leave Lebanon. The warning was issued following Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock's visit to Israel and Lebanon.
The German Foreign Office stated that the security situation in the region is "extremely unstable," and the conflict along the Lebanon-Israel border has escalated once again, with further escalation not being ruled out.
Just a day prior, a similar warning was issued by Canada's Foreign Ministry. Canadians have been advised to depart Lebanon "while they can," as long as commercial airlines are operating flights.
