Arman Tsarukyan Banned for 9 Months: Reason Revealed

UFC fighter Arman Tsarukyan has been banned for 9 months due to an incident with a fan. The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has suspended the Armenian-Russian fighter following an altercation with a spectator before his fight at the milestone 300th UFC event. This was reported by journalist John Morgan on his X page.

The UFC 300 fight night took place on April 14 in Las Vegas, where Tsarukyan secured a victory against Brazilian Charles Oliveira during the tournament. While making his way to the octagon, the athlete got involved in a dispute with a member of the audience. Footage of the altercation has surfaced online.

Tsarukyan stated that the spectator showed him an offensive gesture with his middle finger and attempted to hit him, which prompted Tsarukyan to respond. His suspension will end on January 12, 2025. Reports suggest that the ban could be reduced to as little as six months if the fighter produces a video for an anti-bullying campaign. Additionally, the athlete is required to pay a fine of $25,000 and a fee of $471.12 from his earnings.

At 27 years old, Tsarukyan boasts an impressive record of 22 wins and 3 losses out of 25 professional bouts.
