Photo: Where was the soldier Davit Nersisyan from, who died yesterday?

The Investigative Committee of Armenia released a statement that on June 24, a report was received from the Sisian division of the Ministry of Defense regarding the death of soldier Davit Vahan Nersisyan at around 10:00 AM the same day.

MediaHub has learned that Davit Nersisyan was from the Gegharkunik province, specifically from the Karmirgyugh community. “He had been serving for a year, he was a regular guy from an ordinary family,” said Arayik Hodobashyan, the administrative head of the community, in an interview with the media.

According to him, there are circulating rumors in the village that the young man had health issues, and the cause of death was a thrombosis. “They say he had thrombosis. The Ministry of Defense will provide more details. Now we are waiting for his father to come back; he was working abroad. He was a child from a regular family, and recently, the family had been living in the city, but they will bury him here in Karmirgyugh,” noted the interlocutor.

Reports indicate that Davit had one sister and one brother.
