Oscar-Winning Actor Kevin Spacey to Be Honorary Guest at Golden Apricot Film Festival

The 21st Golden Apricot International Film Festival in Yerevan will host Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey as its honorary guest. Spacey is widely regarded as one of the greatest artists of his generation, as well as among the best in history, according to the festival's press service.

Spacey is not only a double Oscar winner but has also received a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role and a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series.

Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, he brought to life characters in some of the most iconic American films, including “K-PAX” (2001), “Se7en” (1995), “American Beauty” (1999), “L.A. Confidential” (1996), and the television series “House of Cards” (2013-2017).

Over the past 40 years, Spacey has collaborated with some of the best American and British directors, such as David Fincher, Alan Parker, Sam Mendes, Edgar Wright, Curtis Hanson, J.C. Chandor, John Lasseter, Duncan Jones, Mike Nichols, Bryan Singer, James Foley, Alan J. Pakula, among others, appearing alongside stars like Brad Pitt, Martin Freeman, Al Pacino, Kim Basinger, Russell Crowe, Sam Rockwell, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges, Jack Lemmon, and Annette Bening.
