Euro 2024: Georgia's National Team Draws with Czech Republic
In the second round of the group stage of Euro 2024, Georgia's national team played to a 1:1 draw against the Czech Republic. The match took place at Hamburg's Volksparkstadion.
The scoring was opened at the end of the first half. A penalty awarded in the 4th minute of stoppage time was converted by Giorgi Mikautadze, putting Georgia ahead.
In the 59th minute, Patrik Schick equalized for the Czech Republic. No further goals were scored for the remainder of the match.
It is worth noting that both teams had lost their first round matches in Group F; Georgia fell 1:3 to Turkey, while the Czech Republic lost 1:2 to Portugal.
Today's matches also include Portugal vs. Turkey at 20:00 Yerevan time, and Belgium vs. Romania in Group E at 23:00.
