Emergency Situation in Yerevan: Strong Winds Tear Roof Off High-Rise Building in Nor Nork, Damaging Several Vehicles

On June 20, a strong wind caused significant damage to the roof of a multi-story building on Gyuyikevkhan Street in Yerevan. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to eyewitness Gagik Shamshyan, the metal roof was ripped off and thrown approximately 200-300 meters, landing on a vehicle traveling down the street. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.

It has also been reported that some stones from the building were dislodged by the wind, damaging several parked cars in the area. Officials from the Nor Nork administrative district arrived at the scene. There are concerns among citizens regarding who will compensate for the damages incurred, as many remain unsure.
