Thanks to the Bishop's Generosity, Suren Came and Walked with Us: Garnik Danielyan

Today, Garnik Danielyan, a member of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement and a deputy from the "Hayastan" faction, addressed the movement member Suren Petrosyan at the "Hayeli" club. This was reported by "Aravot." According to him, there is no second opinion that people gathered exclusively around the phenomenon of Bishop Bagrat.

"He was not part of the council of the 'Tavush for the Homeland' movement; at that moment, Suren was in Voskepar with certain individuals. As soon as the movement started and gained momentum in the villages, the bishop suggested that when we would march, Suren should also join us, and I did not object. I did not create particular problems regarding this; I did not hinder, although there were many honorable people in the roots of that movement, military figures, and so on, who were both ready and deserving to be there. It is thanks to the bishop's generosity and this so-called step that Suren came and marched with us.

It is clear that the people who gathered did so around the holy father. Maybe a few people came for me, and a few for Suren, but it is evident, isn’t it, that the movement has a clear leadership, and that is the leadership of the holy father. Every time I try to present this differently… I don't want to use other words; it is at least unfair. The movement has given you a lot; it has brought you to the forefront. If you do not appreciate or value it, you know what there is; valuing what a person has done is of the utmost importance. If you are not a bearer of those values, what can I say? To say that the movement is fading? Who said that it is fading?"
