“It’s a Scandal”: Serbia National Team Threatens to Withdraw from Euro 2024

The Serbia national football team has threatened to withdraw from Euro 2024 if UEFA fails to impose sanctions against the football federations of Croatia and Albania following the chants of "Kill the Serb" by fans during the Croatia vs. Albania match (2:2), reports sportklub.n1info.rs.

“This is a real scandal. The Football Association of Serbia demands the harshest sanctions from UEFA, otherwise we will not continue our participation in the European Championship. This is a true scandal, and we do not want this to happen again,” said Jovan Šurbatović, the general secretary of the Football Association of Serbia.

In the first round of the group stage, Serbia lost to the England team with a score of 0:1.
