Azerbaijan Wants to Purchase Turkish T-155 Yavuz Howitzers, Similar to French CAESAR

Azerbaijan has expressed interest in purchasing the Turkish MKE company's 155 mm T-155 Yavuz self-propelled howitzers. This has been reported by Azerbaijani media.

Experts note that the howitzer is structurally and parametrically very similar to the French CAESAR self-propelled howitzer.

Recently, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced that Yerevan and Paris had signed a contract for the supply of CAESAR self-propelled howitzers.

The CAESAR self-propelled system is a 155 mm howitzer mounted on the chassis of a Renault Sherpa 10 truck, equipped with an armored cab.
