Two Earthquakes Recorded in Georgia 7 Minutes Apart

Two earthquakes have occurred in western Georgia, just 7 minutes apart. The information was reported by Sputnik Georgia.

Both tremors were felt in the city of Oni. The first earthquake, measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale, was recorded at 19:42 local time, while the second one, measuring 4.0, occurred at 19:49. In both cases, the epicenters were located at a depth of 5 kilometers.

Additionally, it should be noted that another earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 struck Oni two hours prior.
