Photographs: Hail the Size of Eggs in Goris, Flowering Gardens and Ripening Crops Reduced to Ruins

Yesterday, a powerful hailstorm struck the Goris community, particularly in the towns of Karahunj, Vorotan, and Shurnukh, leaving residents deprived of their main source of income by completely destroying fruit orchards and crop fields. This was reported by the Goris municipality.

In just half an hour, flowering gardens and ripening crops were leveled to the ground. Nothing remains of the fields that once promised a bountiful harvest. For the communities, agriculture is the most important or even the only means of income. The residents are desperate.

Many had taken loans to cultivate this year's planting areas, but now they will have to face severe financial difficulties. The community is mapping out the damages.
