Alert About Bomb on Yerevan-Chisinau Flight: Media
Romanian authorities have received an alert regarding a bomb placed on a plane flying from Yerevan to Chisinau. This information was reported by the local television station 'Antena 3', as conveyed by Sputnik Armenia.
The plane has been unable to leave Bucharest (Romania) for several hours following an emergency landing. Passengers were evacuated, and the relevant services have begun inspecting the aircraft and passengers' luggage.
Previously, the plane had been held at the airport in the Moldovan capital for several hours without any explanations. After that, the aircraft proceeded to Bucharest.
According to media reports, the pilot requested to land in Bucharest due to a dispute that occurred on board the aircraft. Additionally, Moldova's unified service received a phone message regarding the presence of an explosive device in the plane, and this information has been passed on to Romanian authorities.
RIA Novosti reports that the Moldovan civil aviation authorities have yet to comment on the situation, promising to provide clarification later.
