Road Conditions in Armenia

The Emergency Services have reported that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia. A partial collapse has occurred in the pedestrian section of the bridge near the village of Getapnya in the Ararat region, which has resulted in the suspension of traffic over the bridge.

According to the Road Department Foundation, the Vanadzor - Alaverdi - Ayrium - Bagratashen road is only passable for passenger vehicles. Drivers are advised to detour via M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Armenia border and M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Armenia border roads when heading towards the Georgia border via M-6.

The M-4 Yerevan-Sevan-Ijeván-Armenia border road section from Dilijan to Ijevan remains passable, although traffic is one-way in certain areas. The bridge leading to the villages of Khachtharak and Lusahatovit is fully closed in both directions.
