Major Fire Breaks Out at Oil Refinery Warehouse in Iraq, Casualties Reported

A significant fire has erupted at the warehouse of an oil refinery located in the Erbil province of northern Iraq. The information was reported by the ‘Rudaw’ television channel.

According to a statement posted on the channel’s website, “The fire broke out in the refinery’s asphalt storage late on the evening of June 12.”

Sputnik Iran reported that 15 individuals have suffered injuries as a result of the incident. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and flames have spread towards fuel containers.
