Balcony Collapse at Nightclub in Mexico Leaves Three Dead and Several Injured

Three people have died and 16 others have been injured following the collapse of a balcony at the Rich nightclub in Mexico. This was reported by the Mexican newspaper Diario de Yucatán.

The incident occurred in San Luis Potosí's Lomas Cuarta district at the Plaza Altus, where a glass railing gave way, causing several young individuals to fall from the third floor. "Three died on the spot, and 16 were injured," the publication stated.

At the time of the event, a large crowd had gathered for a concert by singer Kevin Moreno. "The uncontrolled presence of people at this event led to one of the bars on the third floor of the Altus shopping center being subjected to pressure, which resulted in this tragedy," the city council secretary said.

Five of the injured are reported to have sustained life-threatening injuries and are currently in intensive care.
