Road Conditions on the Yerevan-Sevan Route
The Emergency Service reports that there are closed roadways in the territory of Armenia. The section of the Yerevan-Sevan highway between 16-18 km is closed.
Detours include: Yerevan-Sevan via Abovyan-Jraber, and Sevan-Yerevan via Charentsavan-Nor Geghi.
A partial collapse has occurred in the pedestrian section of the bridge near the Getapnya village in the Ararat region, leading to the suspension of traffic on the bridge.
According to the Road Department Foundation, the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Ayrum-Bagratashen road is only passable for passenger vehicles.
Drivers are advised to bypass the M-6 when heading towards the Georgian border and use the M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Armenia border and M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Armenia border inter-state highways.
The M-4, Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Armenia border road is passable from Dilijan to Ijevan. However, in certain sections, traffic is one-way.
The bridge leading to the villages of Khashtarak and Lusahovit is closed in both directions.
Regarding Lars: According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Emergency Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations’ North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
