I Haven't Lost This Much in My Career: Petrakov
Alexander Petrakov, the head coach of the Armenian national football team, considers Kazakhstan to be a serious competitor. "I have a good opinion about the Kazakhstan national team. They have good players. They are currently showcasing more aggressive football. There are no more weak teams playing in Europe," Petrakov stated during a conversation with reporters, as reported by Armenpress.
Petrakov commented that the first half of the friendly match against Slovenia was not a failure, but it was a challenging game tied to several technical issues. "To be honest, I really want to win the upcoming match. I haven't lost this much in my career. I place great importance on the game against Kazakhstan," he emphasized.
Regarding the newcomers in the national team, Petrakov noted that he received a positive impression from the players who possess great personal qualities.
The Armenian national football team is set to play a friendly match against Kazakhstan on June 7 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium. The game will kick off at 20:00 Yerevan time.
