China Ready to Cooperate with Ukraine: Statement

The People's Republic of China is ready to develop cooperation with Ukraine in all areas. This was stated by Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Sun Weidong following talks with Andrei Sibiga, the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, in Beijing, as reported by RIA Novosti.

"China is prepared to work with Ukraine to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of both countries, continuing the good tradition of mutual respect and sincere relations, always focusing on the fundamental and long-term interests of the people," the diplomat said.

He added that the two countries promote exchanges and collaboration in all areas, as well as support and develop China-Ukraine relations.
