The Governor of Syunik, Robert Ghukasyan, responding to journalists' questions in the National Assembly, stated that he is ready to welcome Bishop Bagrat, the leader of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement, provided that he comes to Syunik not as a political figure.

"If I am there, and if the bishop comes as a bishop, not as a political figure, I will welcome him. I have great respect for the church; if that moment comes, we will decide," Ghukasyan said.

It should be noted that Bishop Bagrat has expressed the need to visit regions, as they also have responsibilities there. Members and supporters of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement have traveled to Gegharkunik today, where a rally is expected in Sotk.
