Zelensky Calls for Increased Military Support for Ukraine

Russian troops have launched more than a thousand aerial attacks on Ukraine during the last week of May. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to dw.com.

According to the Ukrainian leader, these attacks include “various types of missiles, guided aerial bombs, and offensive drone strikes.”

“The complete disregard for human life and the constant terror is what Russia is trying to spread,” said the Ukrainian president.

Zelensky has once again called for providing Ukraine with “sufficient air defense systems” as well as “the necessary weaponry with adequate range” to enable the country to defend itself against Russia's ongoing aggression.
