VIDEO: Araik Harutyunyan on Lemkin Institute's Statement
The Armenian government respects the assessments of any international organization, and it may agree or disagree with them, but it takes note of them. This was stated by Araik Harutyunyan, the head of the Prime Minister's Office, during a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly regarding the Lemkin Institute's statement about protests in Armenia.
Harutyunyan noted, "We treat the assessments of any international organization with respect. We may agree or disagree with them, but we respect their opinions and take them into account."
It is worth mentioning that the Lemkin Institute has addressed the Armenian government as well as the governments of other countries worldwide, urging them to show restraint and respect people's fundamental right to express their dissent.
